LEGAL & PRIVACY
Last updated: 2 July 2026
This page has two things on it: who is legally behind Mile Arts, as required by Belgian law, and what happens with your information when you use this website. The short version on the second part: no cookies, no tracking, and the only data we receive is what you type into the contact form.
Who we are
Mile Arts is an independent web studio operated by Emil Gurbanov, based in Belgium.
Enterprise number (BCE/KBO): BE 0XXX.XXX.XXX
Email: [email protected]
What we collect, and why
The only personal data this site collects is what you send through the contact form: your name, email address, optionally your business name and website URL, and your message.
We use it for one purpose: to read your request and reply to you. The legal basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR art. 6(1)(b)) and, for general questions, our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us (art. 6(1)(f)).
We never use your details for marketing, never add you to a mailing list, and never sell or share them with anyone for their own purposes.
How the form is delivered
Form submissions are delivered to our mailbox by Web3Forms, a form delivery service, acting as our processor. Their servers may be located outside the European Economic Area (United States); the transfer is covered by their standard contractual safeguards. You can read their policy at web3forms.com/privacy.
Our hosting provider keeps standard technical server logs (such as IP addresses) for security purposes, as virtually every website host does.
Cookies and tracking
This site sets no cookies and runs no analytics, advertising, or tracking of any kind. Fonts are served from our own server, so your visit does not send data to Google or any other third party.
How long we keep your data
Messages stay in our mailbox for as long as needed to handle your request. If your inquiry leads to a project, related correspondence is kept for the duration of our work together and the legal retention periods that apply to business records. Otherwise, we delete messages within 12 months.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive it in a portable format. Just email [email protected] and we will sort it out.
If you believe we have mishandled your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Belgian Data Protection Authority at dataprotectionauthority.be.
